Copra Is Dried Coconut Meat. Copra Is The Raw Material For Making Coconut Oil And Its Derivatives. To Make Good Copra, You Need Coconuts That Are About 300 Days Old. After the copra is extracted, what remains is a by-product which contains high protein (18-25%) but is so high in fiber that it cannot be eaten by humans. This by-product is generally given to livestock as feed.
